A new perspective for pedestrian crossings

AEC presents the new OP optic specific for pedestrian crossing lighting.
The new OP optics has been developed with new LED sources.
The new optical system, made of the highest quality aluminium, has been designed to guarantee very high performance and greater energy savings.

Photometries OP 5P5 optics

The OP 5P5 optic is available in the right and left configurations, whose photometries are mirror images of each other: this allows each pedestrian crossing to be adequately illuminated, regardless of the direction of traffic.

Feasibility study

A specific software allows the AEC Molds department to simulate the stretching of the material, allowing feedback to be sent to the designers to evaluate the feasibility of the shapes.

Mold design

Once the feasibility study has been completed, the AEC technical staff starts the official design of the mold using 3D CAD software.

Mold making

The mold manufacturing phase also includes a phase of choosing the steel intended for molding, which is scrupulously followed by AEC.

Inline assembly

The modern technologies used by AEC in the production lines allow it to control all optical assembly steps. The assembly phases are monitored with IoT systems that allow the management of the bidirectional information flow to support operators and the measurement of production/quality KPIs, ensuring correct compliance with production phases and times.
